Kidszone has an action packed Summer of fun across 4 weeks from 22 July to 18 August. We have lots of creative, active and outdoor activities planned with Summer Holidays, Olympic Spirit and Minibeasts and the Environment themes.
Highlights include:
Passports of fun - have a go at a carousel of international inspired art activities
Global picnic - creating and enjoying food from around the world (in a picnic per bubble in our outdoors space)
Sun safety - sun experiments and learn how to be sun safe
Pizza workshop - working with a local pizza restaurant to have our own Kidszone Pizza Parlour
Kidszone Olympics - visit to local athletics track to run our own Olympics
Sports coaching session - visiting sports coach to run a multi sports afternoon of team fun
Sporting food heroes - baking and snacks inspired by Olympic athletes and sporting heroes
Minibeast workshop - animal handling session
Trip to RHS Bridgewater - finding out about bees, minibeasts and why they are important in the garden and enjoying the amazing space at this brand new attraction in Salford
Making herb bread and herb identification
Bug hunts and make a wormery and bug hotels
Minibeast Kitchen - desgining our own minibeast inspired menus and trying them out and creating the Kidszone Minibeast Cookbook as a result!

Note: We are still operating in bubble groupings across each week. Priority will be given to bookings of 3 days or more per week. We operate in line with the government guidance for out of school settings and are fully Covid compliant and have an enhanced system of cleaning and operation to minimise risk of transmission.
