This Easter Holiday Care at Kidszone we've got two weeks of exciting fun.
Week 1 - Elements of Nature Week - Wind/Fire/Earth/Water (4-8 April)
A week of challenges featuring water/earth/fire/air and a trip to MOSI and sports sessions too!
Activities will include:
- Baking wholemeal bread and understanding how yeast works
- Baking rock cakes
- Planting herbs
- Fire art – using oil pastels
- Lego water dams
- Mud kitchens and plant food
- Making kites and taking them to the local park to fly
- Soil erosion and air pressure experiments
- Multi sports session with sports instructor
- Trip to Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester on Thurs 7 April
Week 2 - Little Chefs Week (11-14 April)
A week full of baking, making, nutrition, tasting and sports sessions to keep us active.
- Cookery workshop at the Scout Hut
- Food tasting and identification challenges
- Smoothie making
- Egg and spoon races
- Role play kitchen and restaurant
- Pancake races
- Coconut shy
- Laminated table mat design and making
- Multi sports session with sports instructor
- Trip to make and eat pizza! (date tbc)
Plus lots of the activities will be outdoors too and of course there will be board games, sports equipment, books and other toys available through the day and children can participate in as much of the themed activities as they wish.
